Organic fertilizers in cocoa production

Faced with the possibility of fertilizer shortages caused by insufficient production and supply on a global scale, it is possible to switch to organic fertilizers, although doing so is much more complicated than previously thought. Composting is a viable alternative to using organic fertilizers, although there are many types of organic fertilizers available for cocoa crops, such as worm humus, animal manure, plant residues and hundreds of biols. It is estimated that a cocoa plant can use a minimum of 5 pounds of worm castings each year.
