Soft Commodities Cocoa

Soft Commodities are those raw materials that are obtained through cultivation, among them, we have cocoa which can be marketed like cocoa beans or after going through primary processing to obtain derivatives such as powder, butter and cocoa liquor.

Since cocoa is a crop of tropical and humid climates, Ecuador is geographically located within the cocoa belt, which makes it a quality and attractive product for investors and traders of soft commodities.

Climate changes directly affect the production of cocoa which has a process of approximately 5 years from planting to fruit production, so we work directly with farmers to develop fully sustainable and environmentally responsible cocoa, these are often determining factors in the price of cocoa in soft commodity markets.
