Stats from the World Cocoa Organization indicate that 70% of this activity is developed in Asia and Africa and is the livelihood of many communities that currently have socio-economic problems.
The lack of means in these populations in many cases do not allow the production of sustainable cocoa or the implementation of “good practices” for sustainability.
Currently, there are countries that are very committed to improving the conditions of farmers and everything involved in the production process of cocoa, and the fragility to which they are exposed, for not having adequate training means are easy prey for their crops to suffer from diseases and pests that affect cocoa prices and wreak havoc.
Remarkably, it is an opportunity taken in Ecuador to be able to increase its production quota and therefore global participation by optimizing the resources and tools offered by all organizations committed to fair trade and care for the environment and the entire cocoa value chain.
